When approaching a product to photograph, I look at all the small details put into the products design. Studying the products architecture allows me to execute a plan to capture everything that accentuates the products features. The majority of these photographs are an accumulation of several shots combined in post to create a single image.
Understanding how a product works along with knowing the environment it will typically be used in are the foundations of how I approach a product lifestyle shoot. All models and products are shot in a studio with strobes to give me the best possibility for success. Backgrounds and environmental elements can then be composited in post giving me complete control over the final result.
Capturing an emotion allowing the viewer to feel something is essential what I am trying to achieve. I like an edgy looks to express an artistic imitation of a person and what their goal is for the portrait.
Ahh, the Canis lupus familiaris. A fine specimen with the ability to always show emotion, making them a great photographable subject.
